The demo contains a stage each from Croatia, Estonia, and Spain, all of which are new. However, the celebration of the WRC’s 50th season in 2022 also brings along 22 classics from across the history of the championship, covering five eras from 1973 to the present. We’ll help: the single-digit number is pretty much the gear you should be in. That said, there’s still a lot of room for improvement that would help to keep newcomers the demo again has no course map, just a progress bar, and the co-driver barks pace notes at you without any hints at all what they mean - though perhaps that is covered in a training mode. A title that’s easy to drive but hard to master won’t discourage novices so readily. It’s an important change which could help WRC 10 break the niche title shackles of the WRC series. Going fast still takes a huge amount of concentration and skill - as with the real thing - but clipping along at 80% is less frantic than before we didn’t even crash during a steady first drive at Croatia’s Grdanjci stage, though we were almost 90s behind the best time… WRC 9 was tricky to handle all round, while WRC 10 seems to bring it back under control. That does all generate a slightly nicer drive. There’s also updates to how the differentials function and even the electronic engine management. KT Racing points to changes in the suspension and aero models, as well as a new way to replicate chassis flex. WRC 2010 is a very easy 1000G and will take you around 40+ hours if playing on Beginner. While a development of the WRC 9 engine - which was itself a development from WRC 8 - there is a raft of updates which change how the game drives significantly. Go find what you're missing and finish them off. If you're missing any achievements after you have completed 'The Road to the WRC' and the Championships, then it's most likely in the 'Other' or 'Single Player' sections. The two country achievements will unlock in 'The Road to the WRC', so don't waste your time going for them. The Single Player section is mainly for winning events with a certain car, or racing in every country. This will speed things up alot, so check the Hot Seat section and save yourself sometime! When going for some of the Hot Seat achievements, you can retire. Hot Seat is an offline multiplayer mode, you can use one pad for upto four players. Start a Single Player Championship, Set the number of Rallies to 13 and the Rally Duration to 2, finish the Championship in 1st place and you'll unlock 4 achievements for 145. Check the achievement guide for any you're missing. Most are for going into menus, doing slides and jumps. Most of these achievements will unlock without trying for them. The last online achievement is for uploading your Time Attack Ghost for 15. The Online Rank and Online Wins achievements can be done in a PRIVATE game with a friend, if needed. Join a quick game and complete it, this will net you 3 achievements for 30, the rest of the online achievements require Online Rank 2, 10 and 20. Continue through 'The Road to the WRC' and you will pick up all the achievements here. This is where most of your points will come from, but this will take up most of the 40+ hours. Start off by completing all 12 Academy lessons to unlock two achievements for 40, shouldn't take much longer than 30 minutes. The WRC 2010 Achievement Guide & Road Map has been written into SEVEN sections, this will hopefully make it easier to understand and shorten the time needed to achieve the 1000G. Estimated achievement difficulty: 4/10 If you're playing on Beginner

Mung bean sprouts that sprout within 24 hours can be eaten raw after a good rinse in clean water. Store them right away when they are ready. At home we mostly eat the same day or store them in a glass container.Īvoid rinsing sprouts if you prefer to store them. However they can be stored for 3 to 4 days. Sprouted mung beans stay best and fresh for 1-2 days in refrigerator. This is similar to the technique where a heavy object is placed over the soaked seeds or beans, so they grow thicker. Since the mung beans are tightly packed, they are forced to germinate sooner and thicker. If sprouting in a jar then you may require to rinse or sprinkle water every few hours depending on the temperature in your region. The moist cloth wrapped around them keeps them moist for long time. You don’t need to rinse the mung beans often in case you plan to grow the sprouts longer. This method also helps the sprouts grow thicker. Since the mung beans are tied tightly with a cloth, the skin remains intact. So I always follow this method as the sprouts taste best, sweeter and delicious. Growing up I would see my mom sprouting green gram in a white cloth. Both these methods will help you grow healthier, fresher and sweet smelling mung bean sprouts at home. The first method is sprouting directly in a container – bowl, jar or box and the second method is to sprout in a cotton cloth. In this post I share with you 2 easiest ways to sprout mung beans with no extra equipment needed. There are several different methods followed in Asian countries to sprout mung beans. Most often preservatives are added to the mung bean sprouts to increase their shelf-life. Though these can be store bought, sprouting them at home is hygienic and you avoid the risk of contamination. Mung bean sprouts are used in preparation of various dishes like stir fry, salads, soups, curries and noodles. Sprouts contain higher levels of folate, Vitamin C, K, magnesium, phosphorus and anti-oxidants than the un-sprouted beans. Sprouting not only enhances the nutrition of mung beans but also makes them easily digestible. Green gram are high in protein, fiber and vital nutrients. Mung Bean Sprouts, more commonly known as Bean Sprouts are the sprouts that grow from the soaked mung beans. In the regional Indian languages they are called as Pesalu in Telugu, hesarukalu in Kannada, pasi payaru in Tamil and sabut moong in Hindi. Mung Bean also known as green gram or moong bean is a legume that is staple in many Asian Countries and is used to cook both sweet and savory dishes. It’s nice that you are able to see all the compressed images in a slider and check their status during the optimization process. The tool adds each image to the queue and compresses it automatically through lossy optimization. If you choose Optimizilla, you can upload up to 20 images. OptimizillaĪnother easy to use image optimizer tool that compresses JPEG, GIF, and PNG formats. To compare image optimization plugins for WordPress, look up our earlier post. Tiny PNG also makes it easy for WordPress users with a free plugin. For larger files, you’ll have to be a paying customer.Īfter compression, images can be downloaded to your computer or saved to Dropbox. Tiny PNGĪ trusted tool, Tiny PNG handles compression of both JPEG and PNG image formats with ease, letting you bulk upload up to 20 images in one go. A free plugin makes it all easy for WordPress users. That’s not all, it can return the optimized images in a zip file, grab all the images from your website, organize them into folders, resize images, store them in the Kraken cloud and keep stats of your optimizations. It can pick up image files from multiple sources such as a list of URLs or a zip archive. The Pro package starts at $5 per month and offers additional features too. Files up to 1 MB are optimized for free, bigger files need you to go with their Pro package. Kraken allows you to optimize not just JPEG, but PNG and GIFs as well. The lossy images will work just fine for most users, but professionals who wish to retain 100% visual information should opt for the lossless (e.g. Lossy – a small drop in quality, but cuts down image file size by almost 90%.Kraken gives you a choice of compression modes: Once the tool compresses the image, you can download it and use it anywhere you need. And then go on to add effects like captions, borders or shadows. If you wish, you can also view EXIF data (time, date and camera make) and resize your images. Using just the default setting, I was able to cut down the file size by 66%. Most of us should be fine with the default compression of 65, though the website can compress images anywhere between 0-99. JPEG Optimizer is one of the first solutions to check out if all you need is to compress JPEG images. Now, let’s dig into the tools in more detail… 1. *it lets you optimize manually afterwards I remember that it allowed arbitrary relationships among cards. It wasn't great for writing, but it was much more flexible for organizing things. A few years ago I used an app called Super NoteCard. As long as the relationships (who relates to whom) are reasonably stable, this works well. This gives me a place to put all of the details about a relationship. I put the "relationship" doc into the folder with the most important character. For significant relationships, I often create a Scrivener doc for the relationship. And if the relationship changed, I'd have to edit both docs to express the new relationship. I'd have to add a link from each related doc to the other. Over time, I found that I could create the relationships I needed as "wiki" links from one Scrivener doc to another. You can't navigate it in both directions (uh, or in either direction). In my outline photo, you can see a simple relationship, but it's just a text field. This custom metadata feature doesn't let you easily add relationships from one character to another. You probably don't want custom character fields in your plot outline, and vice versa, so that might nudge you to keep characters in a separate project. You can put multiple paragraphs into the fields if you want, but I prefer subdocuments for that.įields appear in all docs. You can also view these fields in the outline: When you add a metadata field, it becomes available for all documents in the project. You can add fields by clicking the gear button. Here's a photo where I added a few fields: See the "Custom Meta-Data" button at the bottom of the inspector (it looks like a little tag). You can do some custom fields in Scrivener. Unless I can find a better tool, such as a spreadsheet for text or a text editor with columns and rows, I will likely stick with it.Ĭustom Meta-Data in Scrivener. newlines within cells or alternating background adapting to newly added rows)ĭespite these drawbacks, I find using Excel to create characters very helpful. limited or awkward styling and editing options (e.g.the visual clutter that comes from this functionality.the vast functionality that is unrelated to writing text into cells, which makes the program cumbersome to use for this purpose. This question contains a (made-up) example of what this might look like: Outliner (software) with annotations for OS X or browser based (but offline!) For more detailed work on the character arcs, I switch to pen and paper and draw the kinds of graphs I have mentioned here: To visually and logically plan out stories I even partly develop character arcs in the spreadsheet. Colums can be added and moved around, too, which is nice if you want to see different characters side by side and work to make them more different or explore their relationship. For example, in some stories the outward appearance will be more important, so I will have rows for eye color, clothing style, and which part of their body hair they don't shave in other stories the past of the characters is more important so the backstory row will be split into many other rows such as kindergarten, relationship to siblings, or summer camp in 1963. For every story I write, I can create how many and whichever rows I need. In the spreadsheet, each column is a character and each row is some aspect of that character, such as traits (name, height, personality) and structural elements (development). I use Excel, because I have it, but will try other speadsheet software before my next project. If you know of some software that does all that but has some other originally intended purpose, that's fine, too.Īfter some experimentation I have found that a spreadsheet works best for me. It does not have to be specialized software, but something with the above functionality. Persona: looks nice, but has these stupid character development tools that I don't need.character development from archetypes (as in Persona) or a list of mental disorders (as in Character Writer).these relations should not be limited in number.creating relations between characters (married to, boss of, lives next door to, etc.).it would be nice if it somehow interacted with my writing and timeline software (Scrivener and Aeon Timeline).adding images, text files, movies and stuff, or linking to these.once created, these categories should automatically be available for each character.it should have or allow me to create categories like name, gender, age, backstory, and so on.something like a filesystem, with a file for each character.I'm looking for a software that helps me develop and organize the characters for my novel.
